A FEW TIPS FOR YOUR SESSION!
Take a look at these helpful tipS BEFORE YOUR SESSION
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
- Eat beforehand. Low blood sugar is no fun for a shoot.
- Hydrate, but don’t overdo it. We'll be going for a bit!
- Plan your outfit. Complementary colors are the way to go.
- Avoid logos, loud graphics, and tiny/busy patterns.
- Try clothes on a few days early and make sure you're comfy.
- Bring comfortable shoes to walk in between shots if needed.
- Empty your pockets! Phones and keys create weird bulges and they are rough to edit out.
- Haircut? Just make sure it's a few days before our session.
WHAT TO BRING
- A jacket or coat depending on weather (easy to remove between shots).
- Touch-up items: lip balm, handkerchief, hair ties, bobby pins (if relevant).
- Any meaningful props. They add a lot of energy to your photos!
- A good attitude. Seriously, you'll notice in your photos!
DURING YOUR SESSION
- Don't worry about knowing how to pose. That’s part of my job!
- Movement always helps. Walking, shifting weight between legs. Small actions make a big difference.
- Trust the process! Some poses feel weird and look great on camera.
TIMING AND EXPECTATIONS
- The first 10 minutes are usually a warm-up, which is totally normal.
- You don’t need to be "on" the whole time.
- Laughing at yourself is encouraged!
- The goal is connection, not perfection!
